15th December: Before and After!

Conservation work on the painted panels is now complete.

These ‘before and after ’ pictures reveal the full beauty of Sir Ninian Comper ’s artwork, and give testimony to the amazing work done by the professionals at Hirst Conservation Ltd.

As a church we have recognised the need for this work for more than 30 years, so we are immensely grateful to the Lottery Heritage Fund and to all our funding partners for at last making this possible.
